In order to promote the government, enterprises, financial institutions and other organizations to widely participate in the application of blockchain cross-border timber traceability, and to solve the transparency, authenticity and credibility of cross-border timber traceability, coordination group of the "Research on the Application of Blockchain in Cross-border timber Traceability" was formed in Beijing on August 31.

The members of the coordination group are mainly from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Society of Forestry，and other institutions.
